This was my first time using a suppository, we only recently have suppositories on the recreation market in B.C. I've heard many great things about suppositories in general from women who've used them to manage pain in the pelvic region. Suppositories work locally and don't have a psychoactive effect.
Suppositories can be used before sexual activity and can be used in either the rectum or the vagina. I used them both before intimacy and to see if they worked to reduce pain from a flareup of a bladder condition I have. At first I tried one and didn't notice much of a different. The next time I tried two and I found after about 45 min. to an hour I felt some ease in the pelvis. I also tried three before sex and didn't notice a difference in pain. However I was definitely lubricated!
If you do try this product, make sure to wear a panty liner afterwards as it leaves an oily mess that will ruin your underwear.
I found the nicest thing about the suppository was the lubrication it provided but I personally didn't find much of a difference with pain. The other downside of this product is the price, It's around $50 for 8 suppositories is a bit costly.
That being said it's worth a try if you want to see if this will help you with pain or with intimacy. With all topical cannabis products, everyone will have a different experience so it might work much better for you than it did for me.
