If you pop over to this article I wrote awhile ago when Houseplant by Seth Rogen was first introduced, you’ll find some rave reviews in the comments section. Someone even wrote “the aroma is reminiscent of standing in a beautiful meadow, reveling in the scent of distant wild roses and fresh cut hay wafting in on a delicate yet peaty and dense smoke from the village in the valley. Yeah, it’s that good” Well now, when you put it like that, naturally I have to try it!
I was hoping to find a gram but they didn’t have it in flower so I bought the sativa pre-rolls. Because they’re pre-rolls, I can’t comment on the bud itself, pre-rolls are usually dry and lacking terpenes and these were no exception. So it was definitely not reminiscent of wild roses and smoke from the village in the valley, however there was a mild citrus, earthy taste when vaped at a temperature of 182c/360f.
I have to say, it’s quite a pleasant sativa. It puts you in a good headspace and gives you a nice lifted feel that would be perfect for housework, gardening, making art or just going for a walk on a pleasant day. They should have named this one happy. It’s very much in your head, not a body high at all, for me at least. I’ll definitely try the indica and the hybrid to see if they offer more pain relief. Overall, I would absolutely buy Sativa by Houseplant again.
Update: I was given some Houseplant Sativa in the container it comes in and I like how they package the flowers. It comes in a glass jar so you could just throw a boveda pack in here and store your cannabis in the jar it comes in.
