Cannamama’s Weed Mama wants to hear from you!

In Cannabis, CannaMamas by Weed Mama2 Comments

With legalization in Canada just days away we want to hear from you Cannamamas! Many moms have contacted me to talk about how they’ve had to hide their cannabis use fearing judgement (or worse). Weed Mama wants to hear your story! Please send an email to [email protected] and tell us about the following:

  • the judgement you’ve felt being a mom using cannabis
  • if you have to hide it or if you’re open
  • if you are more free and open with your cannabis use now that legalization is around the corner
  • how long you’ve used cannabis for and your preferred method
  • why you use cannabis (unwind, prefer to alcohol, medicinally for pain etc)
  • if you have friends that do cannabis with you
  • anything else you want to say, we’re happy to hear!

Let us know if we can share your story, and if you we can use your first name or if you want to be anonymous (we support your privacy!)

I look forward to hearing from my sister cannamamas!

Sincerely,
Shannon- founder of Weed Mama

  1. Hello. Are you interested in sharing women’s stories who aren’t mothers? I am someone currently struggling with fertility issues and if I will be able to have children but it seems all the blogs about cannabis and women centre around being a mom… just wondering if you’re interested in hearing a different take. For instance, receiving judgment for smoking cannabis and linking it to potential infertility, when that is not the case at all. Hard to find a cannabis community for someone like myself, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Absolutely I’d love to hear your story! in general moms are held to this higher standard but also women such as yourself who are trying to conceive are scrutinized, I watched some friends go through this struggle and they’ve heard it all as well. I’m sorry you are facing this and you can email me [email protected] with your story. I hope to compile the stories I receive and create a coffee table book for charity 🙂
